The first Nautitech 44 delivery to the UK

The team brought back the first British Nautitech 44 Open to the UK from the Nautitech shipyard in Rochefort, France this month. Although they battled very strong winds and sea swells, the boat made it to UK waters just in time to be displayed at the South Coast Boat Show. A massive thank you to the delivery team.

Both the N40 and 44 Open were on display, with a sneak peak virtual reality tour of the new 48 coming soon. It was a fantastic week meeting new clients which finished off with some test sails.

Pip Hare video

As double handed sailing has become even more popular on all boat types and sizes, Pip Hare has created an advice series, filmed on Key Yachting’s J/99 Jam, to share her tips and techniques for sailing with a crew of two onboard. This month Pip explained the best ways to handle and use furling sails. “Furlers have revolutionised the use of offwind sails for short-handed sailors, providing a low-risk alternative to the snuffer for managing large sails areas.” – Pip Hare
