Bill Stringer

Managing Director

Bill joined Key Yachting as the Commercial Director in January 2023. He is passionate about helping clients find their perfect boat. His love for sailing started when he was 8 years old, having learnt in a Mirror dinghy in Chichester Harbour. He has been dinghy racing for many years, most recently in a Blaze. Bill’s favourite book is “Born To Win” by John Bertrand, the story of how Australia won the America’s cup. When he’s not sailing, he can be found out riding his bike.

Harry is our J/Boat Specialist at Key Yachting, also looking after Grand Soleil and Tofinou clients. He works closely with owners and buyers across the performance and luxury sailing market, delivering knowledgeable, straightforward guidance from first enquiry to completion. An avid sailor, Harry’s experience ranges from Optimists to completing the Fastnet Race. Away from the water, Harry channels his need for speed through skiing and flying, and is a dedicated fan of Led Zeppelin—often attempting to recreate their sound on guitar in his spare time.

Seb is the Nautitech Brand Manager and Broker at Key Yachting, specialising in premium catamaran sales. As the dedicated representative for Nautitech, he combines technical knowledge with hands-on sailing experience to guide clients confidently through every stage of the buying and selling process. A lifelong sailor and competitive racer, Seb is often found on the Solent. Outside of work, he enjoys watersports and is a big fan of Jamiroquai.

Ian Wilson

Service Lead

Ian joins us as our service leader. Born on a boat yard to a family of boat builders, Ian has worked in and around the marine industry all his life. With a wide variety of experience covering cruising, racing and delivery passages. In his late teens he discovered yacht racing and the finer points of yacht preparation required to deliver winning results. Over the years Ian has been part of many successful campaigns including, becoming J/70 Corinthian World Champion on his own J/70 in 2019.

Lisa Priestley

Growing up between the cockpit and the pitlane, Lisa was immersed in the worlds of both sailing and racing from a young age, thanks to her father's passion for both. Her early love for the sea was evident, and she embraced the life of sailing, even proudly sporting her iconic yellow wellies. After spending a few years cruising, Lisa has joined Key Yachting to bring her wealth of experience in office management, event planning, and operations. With a natural knack for making things happen behind the scenes, Lisa is excited to support the team with her administrative expertise and operational know-how.

Nikki Curwen

Marketing

Nikki is leading our marketing activities to keep you updated with the latest news, events, and the exciting boats we have on offer. Having grown up with J Boats, she sailed and campaigned her family's J105 for 17 years, specialising in shorthanded and offshore racing, including competing in the Mini Transat 2015. Opting for a slightly more land-based life now, Nikki works with us on a freelance basis. In her free time, you can often find her on two wheels cycling or attempting to master the art of wing foiling!

Hayley is an experienced qualified accountant with a passion for managing leisure focused businesses. Hayley took over the business with Wayne in early 2021 following a hugely successful career as a finance director and CFO for several companies. Hayley enjoys horse riding and going to the gym in her spare time. All while raising her 2 children.
