N44 ‘Everlong’ sets sail
Another Nautitech handover complete this month to the lovely new owners of the N44 Open ‘Everlong’. She was commissioned by the Key Yachting team in France before setting off on her travels. We wish the owners all the best with their adventure across the world.
J Cup Regatta 2023
The 2023 J Cup Regatta in association with B&G took place this month at the Royal Southern Yacht Club. Although the wind was light, the sun was shining and there was some fantastic racing as usual from the J/Boats fleet. The final Prize Giving was held at the Royal Southern Yacht Club Clubhouse which started with a Salcombe Gin drinks reception followed by a 2-course dinner and the presentation of prizes to the overall winners. The Key Yachting team handed out a fantastic selection of prizes courtesy of the regatta sponsors.

Key Yachting’s Commercial Director, Bill Stringer, announced that the 2024 J Cup will take place once again at the Royal Southern Yacht Club on 20th to 22nd June.
Nautitech Dealer Meeting
Bill and Clarissa travelled to the Nautitech shipyard in Rochefort for this year’s dealer meeting. They managed to see a sneak peak of build preparations of the Nautitech 48 Open coming later this year whilst on a tour of the factory, as well as a virtual reality tour of the new and bigger model.
Huge success for the new J/112E ‘ValenTina’
The new J/112E ‘ValenTina’ arrived this month and was commissioned in Hamble in just a week, ready in time to compete in this year’s J Cup. The Irish boat and crew had a fantastic first ever regatta, winning overall in IRC 1. ValenTina set sail for her home port in Ireland after the regatta, she is set to have a very successful first season in the Irish racing circuit.
Grand Soleil Cup 2023
The 21st edition of the Grand Soleil Cup took place this month in Portopiccolo, Italy. This year’s cup was particularly special for Grand Soleil as it was part of its shipyard Cantiere del Pardo’s 50th anniversary celebrations. The Grand Soleil Cup had 57 boats participating in fabulous sunny and windy conditions.
