Beneteau First 40

Hamble, GB

2009 Beneteau First 40

The Benteau first 40 combines cruising comfort, great sailing and easy handling in a successful and attractive 40 foot boat. With the ‘Race version’ additions their performance in a wide range of inshore and offshore racing circuits has cemented the First 40 as a regular in the Solent racing scene.

ZADA is a 2009 boat with the Race Version additions including ‘race keel’ with deeper draft and lead bulb and performance rig, currently used for personal use and cruising and race charter. She is currently coded to CAT 2 and could easily be put back into charter or would make the ideal racer or family cruising boat.

The ideal family performance cruiser; the three cabin, one heads layout gives 10 berths including 3 doubles in private cabins. With a fully equipped galley you can enjoy extended time aboard, either for a holiday, passage or offshore race.

ZADA benefits from Quantum cruising and racing sails as well as symmetric and asymmetric spinnakers. The addition of a short GRP bowsprit has given the options of flying a range of A sails.

Having been upgraded with new B&G electronics in 2017, no expense has been spared in her maintenance. The standing rigging and spreaders were replaced in September 2020 alongside a full mast inspection. The engine has also been serviced July 2021, making her a truly read-to-go boat.

Currently afloat at Port Hamble Marina. Please contact Key Yachting for more information or to arrange a viewing. Live video viewings are also available.
