2008 J Boats J/124

The J/124 is a sleek, stylish and responsive performance boat with a beautiful interior that can be sailed double-handed or with a larger crew. With a clean and modern deck, she’s a real head-turner out on the water!

Launched in 2008 ‘Eclipse’ is a beautiful example of this rarely seen J Boats model. She has had 2 owners from new, and has been meticulously maintained. This is clear in her exemplary condition both inside and out. A high quality specification with carbon fibre mast, upgraded 40hp engine and both asymmetric and symmetric spinnaker set ups.

The hull has been recently stripped back, faired and epoxy primed with Gel Shield. She benefits from a new saildrive in 2020, updated electronics and autopilot and custom made sprung mattresses to forward and aft cabins.

This very lightly used J/124 is now available. You can be sailing this season in a beautiful, fast and fun boat! Currently ashore in Hamble, UK. Contact us to arrange a viewing.

Owner's comments

"It has been a joy to own Eclipse and explore the Solent. She’s such a responsive boat and very easy to handle. My wife and I often sail her double-handed but we have also taken friends and family with us as the deck has plenty of seating. We have been very comfortable sleeping on board, since both berths have pocket sprung mattresses and the on-board heating works extremely well – even when we have stayed on-board in December and January. With hot and cold running water and a huge refrigerated cool box, we have been able to enjoy cruising and keep cold drinks flowing! She’s such a stylish boat and wherever we go fellow sailors are always keen to ask about her."
