2015 J Boats J/11S

Hamble, Hampshire, United Kingdom

Developed from the exceptionally fast J/111 the J/11S has been tailored for ease of control, in particular when sailing shorthanded. This boat has been modified to include a larger sail area and a single rudder for improved performance and control.

2018 has seen the J/11S JATAKA taking 3rd overall (boat-for-boat) in the Duo Lorient Class of 54 boats.  She was sailed by the doublehanded team of Phillipe Girardin and Gwenael Thomas from France- sailing the course in 13 days 12 hrs 41 min 20 sec. The team triumphed over many famous offshore teams and boats that are renowned in RORC offshore events- like JPK 1010s, JPK 1080s, SunFast 3200s, SunFast 3600s, and others.

J/11S Sleeper is a very lightly used with a large sail inventory and new IRC rating, currently not VAT paid.

Currently available for viewing afloat in Hamble.
