1999 J Boats J/92

Southampton, Hampshire, United Kingdom

£25,000

The J/92S is a high-performance 9 metre boat which is both manageable and comfortable for short-handed and family sailing as well as fun on the race course.

The J/92 class is still very popular in UK regattas, with ten boats racing at the 2019 J-Cup hosted by the Royal Southern Yacht Club and six boats racing in the IRC5 group at the recent Cowes week. The J/92 is both a competitive model in IRC racing and is thriving as a one design class.

Hull #114, Vagabond has had many updates in the current ownership. Having been optimised for IRC racing including the addition of a Tuff Luff on a new forestay in 2019, as well as a jib inhauler system. All the loose deck blocks have been replaced with lightweight Harken blocks and a new mainsheet track with fine and coarse tune has been installed. With a current IRC of 0.965 she is a competitive boat which is ready to be raced by a new owner.

Available to view afloat in Southampton, by appointment with Key Yachting.
