1995 J Boats J/42

Hamble, Hampshire, United Kingdom

Jezebel is a very well maintained example of the popular J/42, built by J Boats in the US in 1996. This model encompasses both the signature performance of a J Boat with comfortable cruising accommodation and a manageable sail plan and layout, meaning she can be sailing by a small crew.

Having briefly raced with the Royal Offshore Racing Club and cruised offshore on this side of the Atlantic, she then competed in the ARC in 2005. Since then she cruised the Caribbean, being kept ashore yearly  in Trinidad for regular maintenance for 9 months of the year. Now back in the UK, she has been ashore in Hamble since 2018.

She benefits from on-going maintenance including professionally applied dark blue Awlgrip paint to the topsides in 2018, a new Sailtec hydraulic backstay adjuster in 2018, 4 new 6v domestic batteries and 40amp Mastervolt battery charger in 2016. The engine was serviced twice annually during it's time in Trinidad by a Yanmar trained engineer, and is currently winterized.

This boat presents a brilliant opportunity to own a well cared for cruiser racer, which is highly spec'ed for long distance passage making with sprayhood and bimini, watermaker and 2 large double cabins.

Available to view in Hamble, 7 days a week.
