Designed by Julian Everitt, 'Wavetrain' is a beautiful and iconic example of the Channel 32. Built in 1988 in cold-moulded wood, the striking wooden hull and teak decks mean she really stands out both on and off the race course. She was one of the first yachts designed for the CHS rule (now IRC), she has been meticulously maintained and benefits from various upgrades to ensure brilliant performance.

'Wavetrain' had a substantial refit in 2014 including new teak decks, modernised bulb keel and a new 18hp Beta Marine inboard engine. In the current ownership the mast, boom and standing rigging have been replaced in 2018 as well as further fairing and optimisation of the keel and rudder with the assistance of Mark Mills.

Ready to sail, the inventory includes a 4 wheeled road trailer, a great condition North Sails wardrobe and B&G Triton and 10/10 displays.

'Wavetrain' presents a brilliant opportunity to be out on the water this season in an iconic boat which is guaranteed to garner attention! The perfect boat for classics or regatta racing, fast and stable with exceptional pace downwind.
