Introduction

Completely dedicated to the Blue Water world, the 46 is the first of Cantiere del Pardo’s new Long Cruise range. She is designed for those who wish to discover the most beautiful seas in the utmost space and comfort. Systems have been optimised for ease of use by a single or double handed crew.

Italian performance and design

The signing of Marco Lostuzzi for the naval architecture, along with the DNA of the yard, ensures excellent performance and pleasurable sailing. The design brief was primarily the long-range cruise: so great living space both above and below decks, copious cupboards, lockers and tanks for storage and equipment. The overall concept is coordinated by Nauta Design, for a maximum expression of “Made in Italy” style.

The deck is the heart of the sailboat

The deck has been well thought out, designed to be spacious yet functional. With all the control lines well located ahead of the helm stations, you’ll be impressed with her ease of handling. For protection from bad weather as well as from the sun, the over-cockpit arch can facilitate both bimini and sprayhood, while also supporting the mainsheet, clearing the cockpit floor of a traveller altogether. Thus the vast, clear cockpit is perfect for dining, and there are three designs of table for you to choose from when you order your boat. The 46LC offers plenty of sunbathing areas fore and aft of the mast, while the wide transom gives everyone easy access to the sea or the quayside.

Ultimate space and comfort

The central theme is onboard living, so the hull has generous volumes thus allowing roomy sleeping cabins and toilet compartments as well as a very large saloon with a light, bright, airy feel.
The designers have concentrated on three aspects:
– Comfort, with generously sized beds, generous headroom, plenty of space to move from one area to the next, and numerous hatches, portlights and hull windows giving an abundance of natural light.
-Stowage, with large volumes obtained in every possible area.
– Systems, the clever coachroof design allows a raised cabin sole. Below the sole there is plenty of space for tanks, batteries and all the domestic systems.

Unrivalled sailing

The Grand Soleil 46 LC was born with comfort and security in her DNA, coupled with superb performance. Cantiere Del Pardo’s 40 years of experience in building fast cruising and racing yachts mean that the 46 LC is like all Grand Soleils: a real sailboat, a cruiser with performance, providing a wonderful helming experience that will be enjoyed by all.
