2015 J Boats J/11S

Developed from the exceptionally fast J/111 the new J/11S has been tailored for ease of control, in particular when sailing shorthanded. A reduced sail area , increase in ballast and twin rudders provide tremendous control and a very competitive IRC rating. Summer 2017 will see an J/11S compete in the 2 handed transatlantic race where her all weather performance should bring great results.  

2018 has seen the J/11S JATAKA taking 3rd overall (boat-for-boat) in the Duo Lorient Class of 54 boats.  She was sailed by the doublehanded team of Phillipe Girardin and Gwenael Thomas from France- sailing the course in 13 days 12 hrs 41 min 20 sec. The team triumphed over many famous offshore teams and boats that are renowned in RORC offshore events- like JPK 1010s, JPK 1080s, SunFast 3200s, SunFast 3600s, and others.

J/11S Sleeper is a very lightly used, very well equipped boat available for purchase without VAT for export outside of the CE. In December 2016 a sistership was delivered to Dubai the boat has scored very highly in just about every regatta since.
